Hi, I’m Olga — a media psychology PhD, mom of two, and the person who has taken 100+ flights with small children so you don’t have to figure it all out alone. I’m the Toronto-based founder of Mini Jetsetter and I’m thrilled to have you here as part of this community of travel-loving families ✈️. When I’m not creating content or packaging travel toys, I’m dreaming up our next family adventure.
Mini Jetsetter is my dream come true, but it’s also a lot of hard work—just me, doing all the things! I’m here to share the ups and downs of traveling with kids, from the meltdowns to the magical moments. My goal is to help you make your family trips easier and more fun, one adventure at a time.
Why I Started Mini Jetsetter
Our journey began when we embarked on a family adventure to London, UK, with our 3-year-old son and 5-month-old daughter. In the weeks leading up to the trip, we immersed ourselves in all things London—reading books, watching movies, and building landmarks out of Legos and blocks. By the time we arrived, our son was bursting with excitement, recognizing Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, and even mastering the Tube like a pro!
That experience transformed the way we travel with our kids. Preparing our son through play made the trip more enjoyable, educational, and memorable than we could have ever imagined. It became clear that this approach was a game-changer, and we put it to the test again during trips to Spain and New York. Watching our son’s face light up when his books and toys came to life at Gaudi’s Sagrada Familia or the Rockefeller Center was pure magic 😍.
✨ Traveling with kids is hard, but with the right prep, it’s also incredibly fun. That’s the heart of Mini Jetsetter.
One week after starting an Instagram account dedicated to our son's travel adventures, I shared a reel featuring his "travel kit"—a simple toiletry bag filled with fun toys and activities.
The response was overwhelming, with parents asking me to create travel kits for their own kids. And just like that, Mini Jetsetter travel toys took off!
Two years later, I’m proud to offer a full collection of kids' travel toys and gear, including magnetic travel sets, activity bags, and airplane travel tray covers. I’m also passionate about creating unique travel itineraries.
